Meet the Head Coach: Ronn Lee
Coach Ronn Lee is in his fourth year for the Wildcats and his 32nd year as a high school coach. Coach Lee holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Mobile and a Bachelor of Science in Physical Education from the University of South Alabama. He began his head coaching career at Grand Bay High School where he coached for 3 years before assuming the Head Coach’s position at Satsuma High School. In 2003, Coach Lee joined the coaching staff at Murphy High School as Defensive Coordinator then assumed the Head Coach’s position and led the Panther’s for another ten years. During his tenure at Murphy the Panthers earned the opportunity to participate in post season play for 9 years, reaching the 2nd round four times and the third round once. In 2013, Coach Lee was awarded the L’Arche Lefty Anderson Service through Coaching Award. In 2014, he retired from coaching and accepted the position of Athletic Compliance Officer for the Mobile County Public School System. Fortunately for St. Luke’s, Coach Lee missed the sidelines and desired to return to coaching! Coach Lee has been fortunate to coach several athletes who have continued their career into college as well as the NFL including Captain Munnerlyn (Carolina Panthers/Minnesota Vikings) and Solomon Patton (Tampa Bay Buccaneers/Denver Broncos). In addition to his coaching, Coach Lee is a member of the Upper School Physical Education Department.
In the 2017 season our Wildcats finished 11-2 with a Regional Championship and advanced to the quarterfinals of the state playoffs.
