Boys Varsity Basketball Advances to State Championship Game!

Both St. Luke’s varsity basketball teams advanced to the Final Four!  The girls team, playing in their first Final Four game fell just short of a victory.  The boys team won their game and will play in the State Championship Game on Thursday, February 28th in Birmingham.  The team will play Decatur Heritage with tip off at 5:45 pm at the Birmingham-Jefferson Civic Center-Legacy Arena.

The school is hosting a Spirit Bus for Middle and Upper School students and parents who are interested in attending.  The cost is $20 per person for the bus.  Seats must be reserved (with payment) through the Student Services Office.  The bus will depart promptly at 11:30 am and will return immediately following the game.

Admission to the game is $11 per person.  Students are encouraged to bring their own food and drinks (twist top or bottles than can be resealed only) on the bus.  The bus will not make stops for food.  Concessions are available at the BJCC – but they are pricey!

If you can’t make it to the game to support our Wildcats in person you can still catch all the action!  Our Japonica Campus will be hosting a watch party in SL Hall with food available for purchase or you can stream the game online at  NFHSnetwork.com  or listen live at http://www.ahsaaradionetwork.com/ .
